Hugging Face organisait un hackathon mondial de robotique open source, le même week-end dans des dizaines de villes. TEKBOT Robotics en était l'hôte local au Bénin : nous avons imprimé et assemblé les bras, appris à les piloter, puis formé les participants à leur apprendre des gestes grâce à l'IA.Hugging Face ran a worldwide open-source robotics hackathon, on the same weekend in dozens of cities. TEKBOT Robotics was its local host in Benin: we printed and assembled the arms, learned to drive them, then trained participants to teach them movements with AI.

LeRobot est la bibliothèque open source de Hugging Face pour la robotique pilotée par l'IA. Ses bras SO-ARM sont imprimables en 3D et motorisés par des servomoteurs accessibles : de quoi faire de la robotique de pointe sans laboratoire coûteux.LeRobot is Hugging Face's open-source library for AI-driven robotics. Its SO-ARM arms can be 3D-printed and run on affordable servo motors: cutting-edge robotics without an expensive lab.
Pour nous, ce hackathon était l'occasion de connecter les talents béninois à une communauté internationale, et de leur faire toucher du doigt l'apprentissage par imitation sur de vrais robots.For us, this hackathon was a chance to connect Beninese talent to an international community and give them hands-on experience of imitation learning on real robots.
Le même week-end, des équipes du monde entier travaillaient sur les mêmes bras open source. Cotonou en faisait partie.On the same weekend, teams around the world were working on the same open-source arms. Cotonou was one of them.

Les participants montent eux-mêmes leurs bras, servo après servo, en suivant le guide d'assemblage.Participants build their own arms, servo by servo, following the assembly guide.

On calibre, on pilote, on enregistre des démonstrations, puis on entraîne un modèle à reproduire la tâche seul.We calibrate, drive, record demonstrations, then train a model to perform the task on its own.
